Reishi growkit

Introducing the Reishi mushroom—or, as it's known scientifically, Ganoderma lucidum—the fungi you're not going to want to toss into your stir-fry. Think of it less like a culinary ingredient and more like a magic potion ingredient. This mushroom doesn't end up on your dinner plate but rather in your teapot, brewing the kind of concoction that might just make you feel ready to conquer the world—or at least your inbox.

For centuries, Reishi has been the go-to for natural healers in Asia, a veritable Swiss Army knife of the mycological variety. Recently, it's taken the biohacking community by storm, probably because it’s like the WiFi of well-being—once you experience it, you wonder how you ever lived without it.

But here’s the rub: Reishi mushrooms are the sloths of the fungi kingdom. These are not your quick-fix button mushrooms; they’re more the 'good things come to those who wait' type. Preparing your tea with home-grown Reishi requires a bit of patience, as the cultivation from kit to first harvest is more of a marathon than a sprint, taking 1-2 months.

Our mushroom spa—er, laboratory—nestled in the serene Finnish countryside, is where all the magic happens. Here, we take a simple yet elegant blend of sawdust, wheat bran, and water, and transform it into a grow kit fit for a Reishi king or queen. Watch as we take this earnest mix through a steamy sterilization process. Think of it as a detox spa day for your future mushroom friends, minus the fluffy robes and ambient music.

Once they're all cleaned up, we introduce our home-grown mycelium to its new home. This is the whisper of life that turns a bag full of potential into teeming colonies of Reishi, ready to bring zen into your life, one cup of tea at a time.

There’s no hocus pocus or chemical mumbo jumbo here. Just follow the elder-scrolls—uh, we mean the instructions—that are printed on the box, and you’re on your way to harvesting your very own source of tranquility. Imagine, in a matter of weeks, you too can join the esteemed ranks of Reishi cultivators, nurturing your well-being one sip at a time. 🍄🍵✨

Made to order

Mushroom mycelium is a fresh product and you will get the best results if the mycelium is as fresh as possible upon arrival.

Because of this we make all products containing mushroom mycelium to order.

The normal lead time of most products containing mycelium is 2-3 weeks.

The mycelium need some time to ”take over” or colonize the growth substrate once they have been manufactored.

Otherwise there is a risk that the mycelium would not be strong enough to survive the shipping process.

Fresh mycelium

We cultivate our own mycelium in house.

The base of our grow kits consist of clean sawdust.

The mix differs a bit between batches but we mostly use hardwoods as birch, aspen and oak.

Wheat bran

To increase the yields from the kits even more we supplement them with wheat bran that is sourced locally.

If you want an grow kit without wheat it is possible. Just let us know before ordering.
