Lion’s mane growkit

Feast your eyes (and soon enough, your forks) on the illustrious Lion's mane mushroom—Hericium erinaceus to friends and science folk. It's the shaggy cap that's captured the hearts of gourmet chefs and biohackers alike, sporting a mane to rival even the most majestic wildlife documentaries.

This isn't your run-of-the-mill mushroom. No, sir. The Lion's mane is like the aristocrat of fungi, with a taste sophisticated enough to be mistaken for lobster. That's right, crustacean-level deliciousness without the need to plunge into the ocean. It's also whispered in hushed tones that it might just be the food for thought you've been looking for—brain health's new best friend.

But as with fine wine and complex characters in your favorite series, the Lion's mane takes its sweet time. You'll have to play the waiting game for about 2 to 2.5 weeks after kickstarting your kit. Think of it as a ritual—cultivating wisdom takes time, and so does cultivating Lion's mane.

In our mushroom lab tucked away in the placid Finnish countryside, we're like modern-day alchemists turning sawdust and wheat bran into gold—well, golden neurotrophic mushrooms, to be exact. Once we've mixed our secret potion (which is really not so secret since it's just water, really), we package it up in a snug grow bag and give it a good old steamy sterilization. It's like a day spa for your soon-to-be Lion's mane, minus the fluffy robes and cucumber water.

Post-steam, once everything's cooled down, we slip in some of our homegrown mycelium. Think of this as the matchmaker moment when the mycelium meets its destiny. From there, Mother Nature's invisible hands get to work beneath the deceptively still surface.

Eager to get your gourmet paws on these quirky 'shrooms? Just decipher the rune of instructions (printed on the box), and before you know it, you'll be plating up your very own brain-boosting, homegrown Lion's mane. And remember, just like at an organic salon, there's not a single whiff of chemical nasties in sight—just pure, unadulterated mushroom magic. So, channel your inner mycologist, and get ready to watch your culinary esteem... mane-ifest! 🦁🍄

Made to order

Mushroom mycelium is a fresh product and you will get the best results if the mycelium is as fresh as possible upon arrival.

Because of this we make all products containing mushroom mycelium to order.

The normal lead time of most products containing mycelium is 2-3 weeks.

The mycelium need some time to ”take over” or colonize the growth substrate once they have been manufactored.

Otherwise there is a risk that the mycelium would not be strong enough to survive the shipping process.

If you want an grow kit without wheat it is possible. Just let us know before ordering.
